Primary Objectives of Position
Be the subject-matter expert in IT network infrastructure and build a robust and secure IT network connectivity and communication.
Manage various stages of projects in conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/ monitoring, and project closure.
Manage and monitor IT network infrastructure (e.g. firewall, router, switches, Wifi & controllers, etc) to ensure high availability, performance & security.

Install, configure, test and maintain network devices and hardware including the latest mandatory and security patches, etc.

Maintain disaster recovery plan (i.e. LAN, WAN, remote connectivity) and conduct exercise at least once a year with end users.

Maintain up-to-date inventory of network equipment, systems and licenses.

Upgrade and renewal of IT network hardware/ licenses/ subscriptions in a timely manner.

Develop SOP, training materials and technical documentation and ensure these are up-to-date.

Prepare reports/ dashboards for IT department.

Continuous work improvement in operational efficiency through automation scripts, implementation of new technology and knowledge sharing.

Lead and participate in assigned projects.
The above activities are by no means exhaustive and are subjected to amendment whenever it is needed.
Minimum Education / Qualifications
Minimum Years of Relevant Experience
-
Experience in designing/ implementing/ managing IT network infrastructure including router, switches, Wifi and structured cabling.

Experience in configuring IT routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP, VOIP, IPSEC and EIGRP etc) and firewall rules.
- Experience in IT network and cybersecurity response plan (e.g. detect, respond, recover, etc).

Experience in project, incident, change and risk management.

Basic knowledge in IT systems infrastructure like Windows servers, services, storage, AD, Office 365, Exchange online, Azure/ AWS, etc.

With hands-on experience in deployment of Cisco, Aruba and Fortinet network equipment like Switches, Routers and APs.
