Primary Objectives of Position The Community Partnership Department is the bridge that collaborates, partners and leverages the community at large to deliver on the value add we bring to our clients; managing Donor and Volunteer relationships.

The Executive, Community Partnership (Contract) supports the execution of the partnership strategy of the Community Partnership team. This includes the development and execution of the Community Partnership Campaigns, Content Creation and Networking events. Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support the development, management and growth of relationships with existing and new partners in Fundraising/Donations (FR) and Volunteer Management (VM). Assist as the interface between the partners and AWWA by understanding the accounts’ needs/objectives, designing the strategy for engagement, developing new opportunities of giving and reporting on the engagement impact. Assist in the promotion spirit of volunteering by leveraging on the partners’ CSR needs and aligning with AWWA’s philanthropic motivations per the VM Framework for effective client outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

Work with the Community Partnership Lead (CPL) to manage the designated accounts to ensure continuity of support from partners through the account management processes; aligning AWWA and partners’ CSR plans, coordinating with internal stakeholders and developing new opportunities for financial sustainability. Assist funding development proposals for existing and future programmes; curate client/ caregiver stories for funding requirements; prepare, manage proposals, and partnership agreements and provide progress reports. Prepare donor collaterals, briefing and communication to support donor discussions and heighten the awareness of their support. Optimise available platforms to broadcast and invite prospects and volunteers to our cause. Research, forge and manage collaborative relationships with corporations to promote FR/VM needs. Be the interface between CPL and Programmes; manage information, materials, resources and coordination of the activities relating to fundraising and volunteer management, planning and briefing the activities. Create account profiles and information of partners, conduct presentations on information on AWWA, and support the CSR relations per the Account Management / VM frameworks. Support in the VM cycle of recruitment of volunteers, manage enquiries, interview and select volunteers, organise training, ensure all necessary paperwork is in order, schedule volunteers, complaints management, and support and coordinate VM-related events. Support the CPL in Campaign Management; the conceptualisation and production of campaigns for FR to encourage a spirit of giving amongst various donor tiers. Develop volunteers campaign with action plans to achieve successful volunteerism to bring diversity, knowledge, energy and experience for effective client outcomes. Support CPL for CP-organised events and assist with liaison with third parties such as partners/vendors to ensure smooth delivery of the event. Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Other Responsibilities

  1. Provide operations and admin support for CP Department on programmes, data collection and analysis, etc.

  2. Provide secretariat support for meetings; minutes preparation, matters arising and follow-up per the agreed timeline.

  3. Analyse and improve work processes to drive productivity, improvement and innovation – Performance Gaps / Continuous Work Improvements.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education | Qualifications Diploma/Bachelor degree or similar relevant field with at least 2-3 years of related working experience Business/Mass Communications/Social Science/IT/Digital Media

Strong interest in different communities and understanding how they operate Outgoing, comfortable with interacting with new people from different communities Excellent written, communication and presentation skills Proficient in proposal writing Excellent interpersonal skills Good eye for details Able to work independently and be a collaborative team player Ability to generate excitement and momentum in communicating stories/messages Events, programme design and facilitation experience preferred Active social media user/content creator Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and Canva, digital content creation, basic knowledge of video editing tools) skills preferred
