Job description
  • Assist Social Worker in administering Medifund applications and claims
  • Perform administrative duties for programme / department, such as attending to information & referrals, ensure client’s data is updated on a monthly basis, maintain centre’s expenditure and to handle the membership fees, if any collected, etc Process, maintain and update records for referrals, admissions and discharges of the centre's clients
  • Support in programme development and needs of clients and their families
  • Assist with scheduling therapy sessions and transportation of clients
  • Extend support by contributing in different projects and committees from time to time, as and when required
  • To perform any other duties as directed by Director, CEO and the AWWA Management.
Job Requirements
  • NITEC in Community Care & Social Service and/or Diploma in Social Service
  • Preferably 2 years of experience in community / eldercare sector
  • Basic functional knowledge in use of computer
  • Experience in outreach or running programmes will be advantageous
  • Cheerful and empathetic with strong passion to serve the elderly
  • Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, customer service skills and language proficiency
