Job description

Lead a team in managing the lifecycle of new/ existing business applications as well as timely turnaround of requests and incidents. Manage various stages of projects in conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/ monitoring, and project closure.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop business applications operational model and build the team’s competencies to support the needs of the Organization.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand strategic and operational needs, capture requirements, identify gaps, and translate these into solutions.

• Lead and prioritize business applications projects/ change requests/ ad-hoc assignments and manage resources to achieve project scope, budget, and time.

• Develop business case justifications and cost & benefit analyses for business application spending/ initiatives.

• Ensure business application practices adhere to Organization policies and regulatory requirements.

• Plan, design, research, evaluate, and acquire new or upgraded business applications.

• Drive and monitor KPI, and prepares operational reports summarizing information and trends to identify improvements.

• Direct, motivate, develop, and oversee the performance of the business applications team and lead by example in professionalism and accountability.

• Provide/ arrange coverage in case of staff absence/ departure.

• Manage 3rd party vendors and consultants to achieve holistic outcomes/ goals.

• Develop policies, SOP, training materials, and technical documentation and ensure these are up-to-date.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education / Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems or equivalent.

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

• 3-4 years’ experience in managing business applications functions, enterprise solutions, project implementation, and leading a team.

Knowledge/Skills

• Experiences in NetSuite ERP, CRM, HRMS, BI and other enterprise solutions.

• Experiences in managing SaaS, web, and mobile applications.

• Experiences in website administration and Microsoft Power Platform.

• Experiences in project, incident, change, and risk management.

• Strong knowledge of business applications and IT processes and their interdependencies.

• Experiences in software development and programming languages (e.g. Java, .Net, Apex, HTML, etc).

• Good understanding of IT governance, risk and compliance, security, and license management.

• Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work and deliver under tight timeline.
