We are a voluntary welfare organisation providing services to thousands of caregivers, clients with special needs, the elderly and families in Singapore. AWWA School@Bedok caters to children aged 7 to 18 years old, diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Staff and volunteers in AWWA School@Bedok, work in unity towards the school’s vision, which is empowering students to thrive in the community. We invite suitably qualified individuals to join our organisation as Ad Hoc Relief Teacher Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in classroom teaching, including hydrotherapy/ swimming sessions, toilet-training, showering and other daily living skills training sessions.

• Assist in supervising and managing students’ behaviour

• Support students’ learning in the classroom, learning journeys, school events, and ad-hoc activities.

Minimum Education / Qualifications

• Min. GCE ‘O’ Levels with a credit in English or ITE NITEC

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

• Experience in working with persons with special needs would be an advantage
